Traam began as a small workshop created to produce handcrafted skis and as a small craft business it wants to remain. The manufacturing processes are carried out completely in house, without relying on outside facilities and with the help & use of small and, most importantly, non-automated machineries.
In order to provide a product that satisfies fully the customer's needs, we are sure that every minute detail of the ski must be considered and studied, and this is not possible with the automated machinery and mass production processes used by large manufacturers. The only way to produce such a quality piece is to create it with our own hands.
In addition, the materials used to craft our skis are zero-kilometer, either recycled or collected in the immediate proximity of our workshop.
All of this is designed to give the customer the opportunity to ski on a product designed in the Dolomites, created with local South Tyrolean materials and by passionate, quality craftsmen.
